I have now switched to Linux (Ubuntu) and find that exactly the same
problem occurs with LMS on Ubuntu (log attached): after some time LMS
becomes unresponsive, possibly triggered by a break in connectivity. I
have seen one of the IP addresses occupied by www.mysqueezebox.com stop
responding to ping for several hours and then begin responding to ping
again (without me touching/rebooting anything), so there are definitely
connectivity issues and I don't believe they are necessarily mine since
my internet connection was otherwise fully functional during the several
hours that the IP address was not responding to ping.

So it's not Windows or the firewall that is causing the problem.

Can someone propose a Logging setting that might help track down this
issue?
