A further update on this: I left a ping going in the background to www.mysqueezebox.com on the same machine that LMS is running on. Everything has been good for a few days but, just now, I noticed that the ping was timing out. Sure enough, LMS was unresponsive. However, I could browse to www.mysqueezebox.com from the same machine. I restarted the ping and noticed that the *IP address of www.mysqueezebox.com had changed*, which is why the ping was timing out. The ping worked fine when I restarted it (and of course I had to restart LMS).
So, could this be the trigger for the problem, the IP address of www.mysqueezebox.com changing?
