If you do the backup Cache,Prefs directory backup to save place,
uninstall and reinstall with place back the directoryś.
You got a very clean installation, and from then on Upgrades go through
the AppCenter, so you don need to do this after this.

Another way to completly preserve you're QLogitechMediaSever
installation.
Go to the directory /etc/config and first backup the qpkg.conf file, so
do cp qpkg.conf qpkg.conf.org.
Then edit qpkg.conf with vi or if installed other editor, and find the
entry [LogitechMediaServer]
And place the line store = b23c4c609ac7b04f6b6595e9f6bec8c4 after Enable
= TRUE.
Then save the file, and go to the AppCenter, and now it show at QNap
Club appstore under myapps.
If there is a upgrade, you should be able to run it with out errors.

localhost [App Center] The internal name of QLogitechMediaServer has been
registered by QLogitechMediaServer. You must uninstall QLogitechMediaServer
before installing QLogitechMediaServer
