They are not broadcasting same SSID.  They are two networks, each coming
from a separate router, each with their own name, but coming from same
Internet source.

The Orbi gets Internet by a network cable into the T mobile
modem/router.

I’m not sure what you are saying about phone.

There has never been an issue with SB being too far from routers.  The
signal is strong for all.  Two of them are very close to routers.  The
dropping off the network seems to be related to presence of Orbi. 
Didn’t happen before Orbi when they were part of same Tmobile network
they are on now.
