No, this actually disconnects you from SC, logs the device into SN, loads (replaces) the SC UI with the SN UI. It's the same as selecting "Connect to SN" on the player itself. :) It even, unfortunately, loads the SN FW Update onto the player. :( I totally agree with just getting an SB3 over a standalone SBR. If a stream gets interrupted (and this can happen somewhat frequently), it's back to the laptop to reconnect the player to a stream. A single press of PLAY on the SB3 remote and you are back in business.
