That only means you to listen to radio trough your local SC wich in turn actually uses SN to do so in many aspects ( I think ). A standalone SBR must be controlled by some interface, most likely a pc in this case you might as well run SC on it. There is of course user cases when this is not wanted one can be interested in mostly radio have every file on mp3 locker and don't want run SC on for example a wifi connected laptop that you carry around in your house. There ara most certainly other similar scenarios, but i've seen no new bug or request raised about it, so the demand can not be that big. The SBR don't make much sense as a standalone product anyway you should really use the SB classic for that. Price difference is not to big (lot of deals around) and it is actually very easy to set up and is very stable. I only thinks that this is simply a bit impractical when you at your pc and wants to switch the player. But if I dare to speculate when SqueezePlay will be enabled to make contact with SqueezeNetwork (which it is not at moment beta/bug whatever) it is possible that it will be possible that way. SqueezePlay has the same functions as the controller SN does exist in the music source menu but it is not working now (for any player ) -- Mnyb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57592 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
