It's under System Requirements, in big bold writing. > and regardless, my point is that its dopey to require a SBC for setup > when you don't otherwise need a SBC. Dopey or not, it's how it's always been, and I'm amazed that someone who's been around here as long as you doesn't know it! The question's asked at least a couple of times a day :) The only way to setup an SBR without an SBC is using Net::UDAP, which is unsupported (and whilst it works OK for most people I personally had trouble with it). The most obvious reason is that without a screen or a remote it's quite hard to do the setup process! It could default to DHCP or whatever, but what if you don't have a DHCP server? Suddenly it gets a lot harder than if you just say "not supported". -- radish ------------------------------------------------------------------------ radish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=77 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57592 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
