i stand corrected, but i think it should be a lot higher up on the
page...  still i wonder when that was added b/c i def missed it. 
having said all that, i still contend its dopey.

as to your last point, most consumers have a dhcp server, so why not
have it default to that, and say SBC required if you DON'T have a dhcp
server?

in fact, in the bugs i thought one of the issues being discussed is
that you can't initially set static IPs for the SBC and SBR because
they both use dhcp (if a dhcp server is detected as present)...  so i
assumed the SBR would use dhcp by default.

this all btw is just one issue i was posting about in the OP, the whole
process leaves a lot to be desired.
