Hang on. The SBS system was designed by Slimdevices to work with a *local* network server. Only latterly was squeezeboxnetwork.com (or whatever it is called today) added. When Logitech bought Slimdevices they decided that the SBN was the way to go. As they did it is incumbent upon them to run a decent remote service. They plainly don't as you can see by the ever repeating posts about alarms, SBN down, lag, interrupted radio stations, connecting to an SBN half a planet away etc etc etc. It stuns me that you still feel you can defend this stuff.
