@general topic of lossless streaming: There is another thing that annoys me: I listen to classical music, and many of the recordings are old and/or low quality. That's a bit sad, because today we can record concerts with outstanding detail, but often we get (even on fairly recent recordings) a mushy, normalized recording that is hardly worthy of lossless streaming and high-quality speakers/headphones. This is not an issue that has much to do with Spotify/Deezer/Wimp or anything, but with the recording industry. If you want great sounding recordings, then you often have to search a long time to find them. Film Music is mostly recorded in the studio and sounds better, although sometimes "overdone" because of audio post-processing... ;-) Not an easy topic.
