First off, I dont know if I have ever posted my Who I am, and what I do
information. So, just in case, I will put it in!
My name is Mitchell and I live in North Florida. I have always had an
interest in live steam locomotives but have kept myself to the electric
realm due to time, money, etc. I have run both HO and three rail O gauge.
As I have four boys now, I am pretty much O gauge. I am an avid Do it
myself kind of guy. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not, but always
learning!
I have the scratch built book and plans A Steam Locomotive for O Gauge
by Norman Dewhirst that I purchased from Tee Publishing.
My question is; does anyone know what the O gauge wheel profile for a live
steam loco would be? I have found a reference in a LBSC booklet that I
have, but did not know if there was an official standard (like the G1MRA
standard for gauge 1) that seems to be the way to go.
