Hi all,
I bought my max way back in Dec '96. I basically stopped using it after I bought my iBook back in 2000 and used it again briefly about 3 years ago. I have been just lurking on this list since then.
Now, I have a G5 & PB, but I thought I could put my Max to use digitizing audio tapes.
Well, at first I could even fire up the Max. No reaction at all. Then, after some waiting, it fired up, but didn't recognize the system. So, I thought it would be a good time to upgrade the HD, so I put in a 60GB drive I had lying around.
Anyway, to make a long story short, if I shut down the Max, it doesn't want to start up again, but will after some time. So, the last time I got it going, I decided not to shut it down, but keep it running. It was working fine, but then my wife blew the circuit breaker and now it won't start again.
Any ideas on what's wrong?
Here's some info about my Max:
3000/200 160MB RAM 60GB HD PCI cards: Ethernet, Firewire, USB OS 9/Amadeus II Nothing else has been changed or replaced at any time.
