I didn't think of that-- Although I think I ran X on my Sawtooth
with less than 200 of RAM (can't remember now . . .)
One cannot run OSX on a StarMax. There are too many issues
associated with running it, just one of which is RAM. As far as I
know, no one has ever succeeded in getting OSX to run on it, even
with a G3 upgrade. OS 9 is the last OS that runs on it.
