Use the ethereal/wireshark to your advantage.  It has the ability to find a SYN 
or FIN in the trace.  It can also find a iSCSI NOP in a trace, sometimes.  It 
will probably work for a newfs ioflow.  It won't for heavy IO.

(I say sometimes because depending on the flow of the IO the initiator may pack 
iSCSI PDUs into TCP PDUs to improve performance.  This causes the iSCSI PDUs to 
not align at the beginning of a PDU boundary and then ethereal becomes 
completely confused and will report bogus information since it always parses 
from the beginning of a TCP PDU.)
