Hi Mattias, Vscan is file system independent. Vscan is a generic system service that provides a facility for requesting that files be scanned on open or close. Any file system can invoke the vscan service using the fs_vscan call in the VFS. ZFS is currently the only file system that has been adapted to request that files be scanned. Other file systems could also be adapted to support virus scanning.
