I believe Paul heard it on the "evil" KSTP-AM. I
heard the same thing I think. It was on as guy named
Chris' talk show maybe around 9pm. He said he just
came from the meeting and mentioned the pro-ban crowd
as rude. Something was said about booing a bar owner
who testified against the ban.
Something else was mentioned on that show about the
effects of 2nd hand smoke and that the only study that
says it is harmful was thrown out of court. Not sure
what that means or even if it matters. I can only
guess it was tossed as evidence in a 2nd hand smoke
case?
The papers and the news this morning and last night
claimed it was heated which could have been a play on
words. the number 5 said opponents outnumbers
proponents.
I also find it easy for the councilmember to claim the
pro side's argument was more convincing when it is his
idea.
