Guy -

Please don't call me dear, especially when you're making fun of me. I am that vulnerable. Your posts and your tone have hurt me a lot. I don't know if it was your goal, but you have succeeding in making me very upset. I have no wish to discuss this political issue or any other with you. I can't know when you will turn out to be "teasing" and when you won't. I can't know when you will post later and laugh at me for being ignorant or naive or having an opinion you think is silly. I wonder if you would talk this way to me if we were sitting face to face at a diner?

A little while back one of the posters to this forum suggested calling people on inappropriate behavior - to point out that it was wrong when someone was vicious, or mean, or nasty or getting too personal. I don't know if I'm being too personal or not, but I think your tactics and your posts to me have been inappropriate. I said very little to you privately and I didn't think any of it was rude, condescending or confrontational. If it was, I apologize. I copied the forum moderator on the first post and the second was hardly different. Please treat me politely, Guy.
