Until I see a detailed line-item school district budget, identifying all their sources of income and all their categories of expenses (both capital and operating), I can only assume that none exists.
I think that this assumption is a little too much. I've heard similar demands put upon the school district before.
I'm wondering if anyone can point me to any public (or private) body the size of the St. Paul School District that does as suggested above - in the kind of detail suggested.
Before I'm willing to suggest that the School District be held to such a high standard, I'd like to see examples of where else this is being done.
Anyone?
