He takes a while to make his point, and when he does, I don't agree  
with it at all.

Independent labels might get screwed if the 4 major labels set up the  
service, but if it were real, the impetus would be to provide as much  
content as possible, and it would be in it's best interest to be  
egalitarian.

My problem is control. If I stop paying monthly, I have nothing. If I  
want to use a device that they don't support or approve, I have  
nothing. If the service goes out of business, I have nothing.

The music labels would have far too much control over how and when we  
listened. We need to take power away from the labels, not give them  
more.
