i listen to a lot of radio... no purchase required. that being said, last year i prob. increased 10 fold my itunes purchases, mostly because of what i heard and liked on the radio. this year will see a decline in that, tho'. our theatre going has dropped off considerably...it's further to drive and more costly. i can wait for the film to come out on dvd and purchase it, and watch it anytime i like, drink and eat anything i like, and have control over such things as crying babies, people yakking on cell phones and other usual "public" nuisances one encounters when out.
