This has all helped a lot.
The 'VDA Cookbook' helped too, didn't know that was on the SunRay wiki.
This occurred quite recently.
Just to double check, could I create a datacenter with the string
identifer "vdi.demo", create a folder with the gui called "xp.pro-eng"
and have a pool of VMs residing in there.
Then in the properties file have the line:
Pool.Path0 = "/vdi.demo/vm/xp.pro-eng"
I haven't actually tested it, but that would definitely be my expectation.
