It's up to the program to change these parameters. Even if you were to use stty, the DTU will reset to safe settings (9600, 8, N, 1) after each open. Since most printer drivers are not set to program serial port correctly you need to set the printer to match 9600, 8, N, 1.

It work the first time, but when I do it again the DTU is diconnected !!

when I reconnect I have the same thing the cat to the printer work on time,
and on the second time the DTU is disconnected !!

On the printer doc the printer interface must be set to 9600, 8, N, 1

Are you sure it's a printer driver issue? Can you cat a text file out

to the printer?

You'll probably want to ensure that the printer is set to 9600, 8, N, 1

Hello Sun Ray Users,

I have a Tally serial printer attached to a Sun Ray 170

that is compatible to EPSON or IBM Proprinter emulation,

In PrintManager on Printer Model there is only IBM ProPrinter II, but it

doesn't work for this printer.

I run SunOS TEST 5.10 Generic_118844-26 i86pc i386 i86pc ;

 >currentFW=3.1_32,REV=2005.08.24.08.55

Any one have an Idea on the driver to use ?

Best regards,

Kamal
