1) when I choose the Generic printer an what ever printer model I have some
times I have scrambled characters and some time a text is printed :
PS-Adobe-3.0
Creator : Gnome Print Version 2.6.0
......
......
2) when I choose to print Banner: the Banner is printed perfectly !!! there is
a way to use the driver/filter to print the banner ?
3) How can I see the serial interface parameters configuration on the DTU ? and
how can I change it ?

When I do a
# cat printingTesttxt > /tmp/SUNWut/units/IEEE802.00144f102cd3/dev/term/a
It work the first time, but when I do it again the DTU is diconnected !!
when I reconnect I have the same thing the cat to the printer work on time,
and on the second time the DTU is disconnected !!
On the printer doc the printer interface must be set to 9600, 8, N, 1
what do you think ? and how can I set the printer to 9600, 8, N, 1

Are you sure it's a printer driver issue? Can you cat a text file out
to the printer?
You'll probably want to ensure that the printer is set to 9600, 8, N, 1
