LOL. Indeed I have. Each time that I make a change I exit the session
and I still get only the calculator within the Applications menu.
To add to the original question, I am trying to add these application
for kiosk users. I have a select few that are using cards and their
setups are working fine. I want to be able to deploy simple applications
such as, calculator, Firefox, StarOffice, etc.
I just figured that I could set up a prototypes folder that has a
default set of .desktop files and that profile could be pushed out to
DTU's when kiosk sessions are activated.
I have read through the JDS manual listed by Jörg (thanks Jörg), and I
think I have a n understanding of how to set up menus but I am unclear
how to bring what I read in the JDS manual and what I read in the Sun
Ray 4 Admin guide together.
