No - the turntables output at phono level, which is way below line. Most soundcards
have both line and mic inputs, the line is what you would use to hook up a cd player,
minidisc etc. Don't connect the decks to the mic socket! You could connect the decks
direct to the line in, the only problem I am aware of is that it would be very quiet.
See my previous post for a solution with a preamp, you could also use a normal hifi
amp if it has a phono stage built in, then take the output from the tape loop to the
pc.
