<< Hi.
Was wondering if it is necessary to have external scsi devices on at all
times or only as needed? I used to turn my scanner on and leave it on
every time I started up but now am wondering if this would cause the
bulb to burn out prematurely. Anybody know if this could be a problem or
how long a bulb should last?
                       Thanks

I fire up my SCSI scanner only when I want to use it. I've never had a
problem. I also have my C-600 booted up first -- contrary to warnings on this
matter.
