So, what is the situation with XLR8 dual processor system then. My
understanding was that you can buy a dual processor piggy back card to slot
onto your XLR8 Carrier ZIF MPe (MPe=multi-processor enabled) and they have
the proprietary hardware that can make it happen.

A quick look at XLR8's compatibility page
<http://xlr8.com/ProductInfo/compatibility/index.php3> doesn't list the S900
being compatible in this situation, but I didn't have much time to give it
more than a cursory look today. Anybody with a bit more time, please check
it out in a bit more detail. If this config. did work then I was just
waiting for the XLR8 500MHz G4 ZIFs to come down in price enough to add 2 x
500MHz G4s to my S900, but if it is not supported for our machines, then
paying the extra $20-30 for a Carrier ZIF MPe rather than a straight Carrier
ZIF was a waste of money.

Cheers, Pete.
