So, what is the situation with XLR8 dual processor system then. My understanding was that you can buy a dual processor piggy back card to slot onto your XLR8 Carrier ZIF MPe (MPe=multi-processor enabled) and they have the proprietary hardware that can make it happen.
A quick look at XLR8's compatibility page <http://xlr8.com/ProductInfo/compatibility/index.php3> doesn't list the S900 being compatible in this situation, but I didn't have much time to give it more than a cursory look today. Anybody with a bit more time, please check it out in a bit more detail. If this config. did work then I was just waiting for the XLR8 500MHz G4 ZIFs to come down in price enough to add 2 x 500MHz G4s to my S900, but if it is not supported for our machines, then paying the extra $20-30 for a Carrier ZIF MPe rather than a straight Carrier ZIF was a waste of money.
