Well, as I look back... my first S900 upgrade was from the stock single
200mhz 604e, to a 233mhz G3. The performance increase was very noticeable
and benchmarks verified the improvement. So, although dual 604e processors
is a lot better than single, moving up to a G3/300 will still offer a
noticeable improvement. Adding even more emphasis to the improvement would
be if the G3/300 had a 1mb backside cache. (as opposed to the 512k cache my
first G3/233 had)

I guess my vote is for the G3/300 in nearly every usage category I can think
of. Not the least of which is playing 3D games, but for most other uses as
well.
