Since OS X doesn't (yet, and likely never will IMO) use both processors on 
an S900, you're better off with a faster single CPU.   Under OS 9 there's 
Photoshop and maybe 1 or 2 others that will use dual CPUs.   The problem 
here is that OS 9 is brain-dead and not dual CPU aware.   Hell, it's barely 
single CPU aware!

I just recently dropped a G4/450 into my S900, and it made a *huge* 
difference.   OS X went from interesting-to-play-with-but-glacially-slow to 
100% useable.

Soon there will be 800 mhz G4s available for S900s.    There's lots of life 
left in these machines!
