I don't know the answer to the caps lock nor Mouse ?? But I wouldn't 
worry about that now. You need to get an OS on your machine see note 
below.

Not weird at all and the good news is your CDrom player boots! OS 9.2 
will not install on your machine without first having an older OS on 
your machine and using some hacks. OS 9.1 is the newest you can 
install ( OSX requires OS 9.1 to install for example)

The oldest OS that I know will install is OS 7.6 and OS 9.1 the 
newest. 7.5.5 may work I don't know. Someone said that 7.5.3 would 
work but since you have disks and they don't work and I remember 
reading they don't....
So that is your next step finding an OS to install. best of luck Will S
