Well,
James Buffay and I are easing into a few Margaritas thanks to this
fine computer and it's entertainment capabilities. I have 2 200 mhz 604e's
just wankin away in there (thanks Scott) Just have some odds and ends of ram
in it for the nonce, but I am not happy leaving it alone. That drive bay is
just begging for some drives, I can hear it. I assume there's a right way
and a wrong way and a smart way and a dumb way to approach adding storage
to the machine. ( there's also my way but I always aspire to better) It has
only the original HD in the lower "pocket" at the moment, and I'm wondering
which bay is the "smart" way to add the next one ? If it is in the upper,
removable bay, will I need some brackets of some sort to situate the
drives? and if so, where can I get them?
I still need more 64mg plus ram and I am getting an ugly CPU buildup. I have
the 2 200's in the (00 and a G3/275 in the 8500 and a 200 in the 7600 as
well as:
1 604e/200
1 604/150
3 604/132
1 601/100
that have now assumed the status of wampum.
