At the risk of sounding discouraging, I have to suggest you wait until you have a G3 upgrade. OS X running on a 604e processor will be too slow for any general usage. You'd find yourself constantly in OS 9 to do nearly everything, because it would be so much snappier. I'm running OS X on an S900 with a G3/350 and it's usable for sure, but not as snappy as I'd like. I kind of think that perhaps a G3/300 and up should be the requirement for a usable OS X installation. But everyone's expectations are different I guess. But in preparation for an OS X install, you should read and reread everything on Ryan Rempel's web site (hosted by Other World Computing)... http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto One last thing, if you're running your Ultra Wide drives off the E100 Jackhammer SCSI card, you'll not be able to use that card under OS X. Your Twin Turbo video card will be fine though. -Howie -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
