I have had no luck at all with XPF 15 or 16. Neither will successfully boot the install CD. The only one that works for me is b7. Your hardware looks OK to me. I don't know about the USB card, but everything else should be OK. The video card and Sonnet tempo should be in slots 1 & 2. Also, after the first CD is finished, it will want to reboot. You have to be ready at this point and boot back into your OS 9.x partition. You need to run XPF again, and use that to restart your newly installed 10.2 partition. It will re-copy some needed files that the install overwrites. If you don't do this, you will not be able to re-boot into 10.2. I've never installed one version (of any OS) over top of a previous version. You're just asking for problems doing that. I created a separate partition and installed clean. It's a good idea because if the install fails for any reason, you still have your 10.1.5 partition unharmed. I have 9.1, 10.1.5 and 10.2 on this machine.
