I might give that a try, as long as moving the b7 packages back into the folder and re-installing extensions will get me back to working if I run into problems. As far my machine config, it's an S900 with a Sonnet G4/450 CPU card. I just yesterday disabled the on-board cache by soldering a short wire across J38. I have only two PCI cards - an ix 3D Ultimate Rez 8 meg video card, and the VST UltraTek 66 IDE card. One is in slot 1 and the other is in slot 2, but I don't remember offhand which is which. I also just downloaded and installed the PowerLogix cache control 1.2 software. It shows my on-board cache as not installed, and I turned on the Speculative processing. So far it seems to be working OK. I saw another message from someone upstream that said that XPF b17 allowed him to install Jaguar, so maybe things are improving.
