You dont really need a "station".  I just use a nice Weller iron.  I 
was able to put 2 sockets down on 2 ATI video cards, but have not 
tested yet.  I find that to put a socket on, you have to punch out 
the bottom plastic peice on the socket (but dont throw it away - you 
need it as a spacer between the ROM and the board).
