But if the machine is suspect because of bad ram isn't logical to test the ram? I tested everything else with Nortons, DiskWarrior and TechTool Pro looking at components, etc. and all is OK. So then I test the ram. How else can we proceed? I do have suspicions that Ramometer is not the penultimate method and can give flaky readings. Two sticks in B3 and B4 slots that didn't show in the ASP ran OK in A1 and A2. I know TechTool Pro will test ram but I've not been satisfied running TTP as it takes forever whereas Ramometer will spot a bad stick in less than 100 passes usually.
