When I first thought of this trick, I had the same thoughts as you. I 
thought on the surface this can't work and I debated posting less the 
whole list jump on me. But apparently it works. HOWEVER upon testing in 
the daylight with more ram (4x128MB) the differences between Ramometer 
in a ram disk and normal  operation is about the same. There is no 
giant speed difference as noted previously. I'll bow to those with 
better understanding of hardware structure and SW operation to discuss 
this.
