If you've got money to burn then sure you can buy a SCSI PCI card and 
SCSI hard drive that will likely be "better" then the ATA PCi card and 
IDE drive. But It's going to cost you twice as much and the drive will 
be smaller most likely.
IDE drives are better then they used to be and they are big and cheap 
and plenty good enough for most of us. My old SCSI 50 pin drives that 
came with the UMAX still run just fine but they are loud and slow 
compared to the IDE drives.  Most of the die hard SCSI snobs have 
changed their ways in the last couple of years. ;-) Will S
Who once thought IDE drives were for PC dummies only ;-)
