This chart would seem to show that you would have to be running Ultra 
Wide SCSI or faster in order to match IDE drives. The last time I 
looked at SCSI drives at my local Fry's a 9gb SCSI drive was nearly 
$200.00 plus the SCSI PCi card.(which can easily cost $100.00) With 
careful shopping you can now buy a 40gb IDE drive and ATA 66 PCi card 
both for apox $110.00. I rest my case.....Will S
PS High end Video is just about the only hold out for SCSI these days 
and even there they have started to go for IDE
