I would definitely not recommend analog cables. That would be
unnecessary D/A & A/D conversion that would certainly degrade the quality of
your music. Why go from dig to ana to dig again when you don't have to? What
kind of digital inputs do you have on your minidisc player? Optical only?
S/PDIF? USB? I do believe that an USB to optical does exist. If optical is
your only input, that may be your only choice.
