In times past I always had the control strip present. In it was an Icon "CDstrip." What this did when clicked was show a pop up panel: SCSI ID 3 Auto Play Normal And what looked like CD channels. But lately when I clicked on it strange things happened. The desk top would sort of blank out and come back. Sometimes no strip. A few times when it was there and I was on AOL, and clicked on it, AOL crashed. NOW, if the CDstrip icon is in the control strip Modules Folder of the System folder, the control strip does NOT show itself. It is gone. I cannot turn it on using the control strip in the control panels from the apple menu. If I take the CDsrtip Icon out of the system folder the control strip is back. Do I make and sense?
