I experimented slightly last evening.  When the shorting bar (the jumper btw
pins 1 and 3) is removed from the Audio header at the front of board (it is
a set of 5 pins) then NO sound comes from the rear of this machine. (not
even a left channel).  I wonder if two more pins need to be shorted to make
the rear port functional?  Anyone have a pinout of this header?

Really there are no wires to mess with as this is merely a set of mini
headphones (known good) being used on the rear sound port (before I try to
integrate into a rack).
