Well, remember that there's also an 8 Gig max limit
for the boot drive too. I have an 80 gig drive
partitioned into an 8 gig boot volume and two 30+ gig
ones. I don't know about a problem with drives under 4
gigs, but Apple's installer doesn't check for volumes
that are too large to boot from. (Xpostfacto does
tho). The first times I installed X I didn't kmnow
about or had forgotten the limitation and really
screwed up my drives with various installs.
