Ooops!I forgot we were talking Apples and oranges
here. My OSX machine is a real Apple with built-in IDE
which has the limitation I mentioned, as does any
non-G5 Apple. An S900 would have the limitations of
whatever card you put in to get an IDE bus. Sorry for
the confusion.
