I picked up a mini tower case with 4 SCSI drives/ power supply/ and internal cabling.
Also acquired an external SCSI connector cable to go from the S900 to the minitower.

Then comes the fun!!!!

The S900 sees two of the four drives.

I had carefully looked at the profile to eliminate SCSI ID#s that were already in use, and set the 4 new drives to 'other' numbers.

Is there a limitation as to the physical number of SCSI ID#s that can be in use at the same time?

Whats the diff between the internal/external SCSI bus structure.

(I am trying to find out this stuff for myself. The "Inside Macintosh" volumes ordered won't make it here for at least a week.)

TIA

Chuck Davis
