Do you have any other info regarding the Sonnet Tempo 133 that would lead you to believe my problem was hardware related (ie one having one drive working off the ATA controller in OS9)? I know the Sonnet card does have the "first 8 GB" partition limit in OSX. However, if I can get both my DVD-R and hard drive to be seen in OSX, yet can only get one drive at a time to be recognized in OS9, it does seem to lead to an OS software limitation. I tried all combinations of Master/Slave - hard drive/DVD-R. My workaround has been to put the DVD recorder in an external Firewire case so I can use it in both OS9/OSX. Would love to be able to find an internal ATA solution that would work with both operating systems. Is anyone else on the list using a third-party IDE/ATA card, and are you able to get two drives working with it in OS9? -- Gregg -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
