I have Foxit Reader 2.3 installed as the program to use for pdf files. I have removed Adobe Reader since Foxit suits all my purposes better and is faster. No problem on 1.1.14 or previous versions. Are you sure you configured the helper application preference properly? Correct location for Foxit? Correct extension? Left the 'plug-in finder service' box unchecked?
