SM 1119, How to change wmv default app? Wmv web links tries to open with Windows Media Player. I do not want to open wmv's with Windows Media Player. WMP is not set on my machine. I get a pop up asking to set it up. I do not want to open wmv's with Windows Media Player.
http://www.osborneparkbc.com.au/WMV/ I set SM helper apps to use Media player Classic. SM still wants to use wmp. I removed all references to wmp in XP registry. No change. If I download the file and set the registry to open with other players (MPClassic, Irfan, etc.), it works just fine. I do not want to open wmv's with Windows Media Player.
