If you double-click a wmv in Windows Explorer, who plays it? If Windows
thinks the file type is associated with WMP, and SM is set to "use
default application," that would cause your problem.
If SM is the only program that has the problem, though, I would follow
Michael Gordon's advice elsewhere in this thread.
