I have installed it in a few computers, and have not noticed any ill
effects. I have done so on Win 7 and XP. From what I have read of
previous versions and users that have encountered problems, they seem to
have some plugins that I do not have installed. Perhaps that is the
cause of many of the problems you read about, or I am just lucky?
